Tom
Director

I started Gas Tech Heating in 2016, having been in the industry since 2009. I’ve loved watching my business grow – it’s been a highly rewarding journey, and I enjoy being involved in every aspect of running the company. I get to meet our customers and solve their heating and plumbing issues, as well as taking care of the day-to-day management.

For me, this was always an industry I wanted to go into as I was following in my dad Tom’s footsteps. He works for Gas Tech Heating too, as well as my partner Evie, and our business has a real family feel. We pride ourselves on being good communicators and we truly care about our customers – we all have a good work ethic and that really comes across in the quality of our work.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends (including our dog Archie of course, who doesn’t like to be left out!) I like to challenge myself and my main hobbies are riding my road bike and running – I’ve previously taken part in the London marathon.

Tom
Plumber

I joined Gas Tech Heating in 2020 and I undertake plumbing and heating works for our customers. I enjoy the variety of working here and the different people I get to meet – I’m experienced and organised, and the business is run very efficiently. Plumbing can be challenging, especially when there is a complex problem to solve, but it’s always rewarding to complete a project to the highest standard.

I started working in the plumbing industry in 1977. I still remember exactly how it happened: a company advertised for a ‘plumber’s mate’ on Capital Radio and I decided to apply. I got the job, and the rest is history.

Outside of work, I like to relax by going abroad and visiting Spain whenever I can, as well as spending time with my family and son Tom (who also happens to be the director of Gas Tech Heating!)

Evie
Office Manager

I manage administration, bookings and enquiries for Gas Tech Heating – when you call or email us, I make sure your enquiry is dealt with efficiently and I will find out how we can best help you.

I’ve been working for Gas Tech Heating since 2020 – the business was growing rapidly and my partner Tom needed support with admin and bookings, so I took on the role. It’s a true family business and I love being a central part of it.

I enjoy running the admin side of Gas Tech Heating from home as I also have my own cake making business, crafting cakes and sweet treats for celebrations and weddings. And I get to spend every day with our lovely boy Archie, of course!

Archie
Company Mascot

I’m Archie, I was born in October 2019 and I take my job as company mascot very seriously. It’s a real commitment! Some people say I can be a little bit cheeky, but they just don’t understand how hard I work. I deserve a treat every now and again.

A typical day for me is non-stop: I eat, I sleep, and I go for walks with my mum and dad (you might know them as Evie and Tom). In the office, I have big responsibilities. Who else is going to chase away the invading cat in my garden? No wonder I often need an afternoon snooze.
